I have been to the Portland Girl twice and both experiences have been wonderful. The first time, was my first ever sugaring and first time with any waxing type service. I got the equivalent of a Brazilian and while it wasn’t “comfortable” it wasn’t terrible as I’d been warned hair removal could be. From start to finish everyone was very kind and professional and I walked out feeling fresh as a daisy. My refresher was only different in that I had significantly less hair to remove so it was faster and less painful. At this rate I have no desire to try waxing, sugaring seems to be the way to go. Next up is my eyebrows and maybe a facial! Case did my honeying and was super pro and put me right at ease.

I've been coming to this location for over a year now (with prior experience at other Salons). All the staff is amazing, and I'm thankful that I've found Alivea! Total sweetheart that is detailed and always gives me the PERFECT soft shaped Portlander. I'm a hairy gal, front to back, and she takes the time to make sure it's perfect and cleared every single time.

I couldn't have picked a better place to try sugaring for the first time. The staff was outstanding, the facility clean, I felt safe and at ease and will absolutely be back in the future.

I have been here a few times and had a few different people wax me here. Everyone was friendly and professional, and the areas waxed all looked great afterwards! They all made sure I was set for skin aftercare before sending me on my way. Great place to get waxed even during the pandemic since they have multiple safety procedures set in place!

I went to the Portland girl for the first time for leg sugaring and the signature facial. The atmosphere in there is safe, clean, welcoming and professional. I actually learned so much about my skin during the treatment and also had enough quiet to relax. They also sell some local products that are fun to explore and have their own line made by the owner herself. Love this place and will visit regularly from now on.

Woah this was my first time ever coming here to get sugar waxed and it was great! Well obviously not the feeling of getting hairs ripped out of my skin but the lady did a great job, although it hurt it only actually hurt a little bit! My lady was great! Also before my appointment this lovely front desk gal offered me some water, she was so nice! I look forward to my next appointment!

The atomosphere of the salon was absolutely amazing, from the moment you walk in, to the bathrooms, to the room where services are provided. I drove all the way from Salem, and I’ll keep doing so!

Received a "Bushwhacker" from Emma and it was quick (45 minutes start to finish), and considering the service: remarkably not excruciating. Of particular note was how professional and friendly she is! I usually have some kind of intense body anxiety, especially for an intimate service, but I was at ease almost immediately. It was matter of fact, plus-size friendly, and efficient. I can't rave enough!
