I love the Portland Girl. I’ve been getting waxed/sugared for 13 years now in some of the biggest cities in the country (and some of the smallest - eek), so I am pretty picky when it comes to technique with hair removal. I tried a couple of places after moving to Portland, but The Portland Girl is where I decided to stay. It is absolutely great. I even have less hair growth since starting there. All of their aestheticians have been fabulous, the ambiance is comforting and chic (sounds like an oxymoron, but it’s weirdly both), and the admin staff have always been incredibly accommodating, kind, and helpful. Highly, highly recommend.

First-time client and the place was spotless and well ventilated, safety protocols were on point, the level of service was highly professional and I just really felt like Case and the rest of the staff really cared—about me, their work, their space, everything. I’ll be returning!

They’ve always been really flexible with appointments; I was in the area an hour early so I called to see if they were able to squeeze me in and they were happy to accommodate! It’s always very clean and tidy without feeling sterile, maintaining a warm and welcoming environment. Friendly staff, the most pain-free sugaring I’ve experienced, and wonderful products (I *highly* recommend Consciously Collected Dinah’s Salve Soothing Rub!).

Love that i found the Portland girl! Such a great little place to get pampered. Felt very comfortable with their new covid-19 policies. Can’t wait to try more services with them!

I love the Portland Girl! The staff is amazingly kind and knowledgeable! I have gotten a few facials there and my skin always feels great after (I even bought a few of their products which were high quality and reasonably priced). My most recent experience was getting sugaring for the first time - I was nervous having never done it before, but Kayla made me feel so comfortable and was patient with me. Highly recommend!

Jessica was so sweet and professional!! I have been waxing for years now and this was my first time with the sugaring....Its much better!!Way more comfortable , better for your skin and no horrible wax left over!! LOVE IT!!!

I had an appointment with a new esthetician and it was one of the best procedures I've every had.I think that goes a long way to show you that the staff is supported, friendly, and confident. The estheticians and staff are all so lovely! My esthetician was super friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. Every service I had was a wonderful experience, I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone. And as far as sugaring for hair removal, I'd recommend it over traditional waxing any day. Love it here!

Start to finish Portland Girl is the best experience. Going in for a service so intimate it is imprtant to me to feel cared for in a clean, professional, warm space and I couldn't be more comfortable and happy going to Portland Girl! I rarely write reviews, if ten stars were an option, I'd give it! Thank you to all the staff at the NE location. :-)

Forgot how much I love this place! I haven’t been in over a year and the staff still remained very thorough and welcoming. Definitely going to get back into the routine of going in monthly!

I recently had a sugar (female) treatment. First, I really appreciated the cleanliness of the establishment and it smelled so nice and fresh. Emma was the provider and she did an amazing job making me feel comfortable as well as the actual sugaring. She was informative about after care (they even provide a little informational card) and later maintenance. I wasn’t pushed out the door and expected to know everything. So thank you :-) The room was quaint, comfortable, clean, and added bonus: the ceiling lights were not blinding! Haha yay! They have reasonable hours, great products, and great staff. The Dekum location has plenty of nearby free street parking too. Can’t wait to come back for another stellar experience.
