I got a half leg sugaring for the first time and it wasn't as bad as I thought! Erica was very professional and made me feel comfortable, and explained how sugaring works. Portland Girl feels like (and is) a friendly, local small business, with a focus on inclusivity and sustainable products. Update: I've been returning to Portland Girl off and on over the past year and every person that's sugared me here have been amazing, no bad or disappointing experiences. I've branched out and tried other sugaring places that ranged from horrible to pretty-good experiences, and I have to say Portland Girl is the best. Sightly pricier than other sugaring businesses, but you 110% get what you pay for. Highly recommend. Also, just had a full leg service done with Cindy and she was awesome! The hour long appointment was enjoyable and we had a wonderful conversation throughout. As always, I felt really comfortable and welcome in a rather vulnerable space. She's attentive to detail and communicated well throughout the service.

I started going here in December of 2021 after researching sugaring. They were number one on my google search. All of my experiences have been awesome. The staff do a great job at making sure you are comfortable, and I love that they offer facials and other treatments. it is also very easy to just book my next appointment at check-out. I highly recommending coming here if you are interested in sugaring!

My daughter and I had the pleasure of receiving signature facials with The Portland Girl. The whole experience was wonderful! The quality of the facial was exceptional-wonderful neck, shoulder and foot massage and each stage of the facial was explained. It was just what I was hoping for!

I have gone to the Portland girl for years (previously at their NorthEast location before that one closed) and have always been delighted with how wonderful the experience has been every single time. For being on the busy street of Morrison, they do a great job creating an oasis in the middle of the city. Though the lobby is small, they do a great job making you feel comfortable. I have been going for the sugaring but recently upped the ante and bought a membership. Now I get a facial after my sugaring appointment and that was MAGICAL. I go to see Rebekah about every 5-6 weeks and highly recommend her. That facial was incredible and she's so kind and professional. I know The Portland Girl can seem a little spendy but I promise you it's worth it. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Especially through COVID-19, my attention to skincare has been more focused - the quality of all the ingredients used and commitment to exceptional customer experience is unmatched.

From the front desk staff to every single esthetician I have seen from body sugaring to facials- the kindness and professionalism is unparalleled. Returned to the Portland Girl after a two year hiatus (COVID related) and was pleased to find myself greeted by a safe, welcoming, and knowledgeable environment. I booked a Signature Facial with Savannah and really soaked up those 45 minutes. Savannah was trauma informed and made sure I was comfortable and aware of the process. She introduced products that suited my skin and didn't try to oversell just for the sake of selling products. The facial itself was relaxing, rejuvenating, and I left feeling dewy and beautiful. The staff at the front desk were so kind and helpful as well. Will be coming back monthly and looking forward to my next appt!

Allison was friendly, meticulous and fast. I always love going to Portland Girl because the space is clean and quiet. Portland Girl has been a safe space during the pandemic.

This place is seriously great. I’ve now had two gals sugaring my nether regions and they were both incredible. We talked the entire time and they were funny and relatable . Down to earth and very real. I know that’s a weird thing to be important, but every time I’ve been anywhere to get waxed, I am just sweating and awkward the entire time while they stare at my yoni and make super awkward small talk all the while torturing me. These girls immediately put you at ease. They also do whatever they can to minimize pain. All around, I won’t go anywhere else now and it’s on the other side of town for me so that’s saying something. Highly recommend.

I’ve been enjoying the services of The Portland Girl for a few years now. The treatments I receive include honeying, facials and resurfacing. My skin feels great after each visit and I love the products that are used during facials. The COVID safety measures are well thought out and appropriate.

I started coming here about 6 months ago because I needed an alternative to waxing. It's very easy to schedule appointments with them. They're prompt and professional for their services. All of the staff here are extremely friendly and the decor is spot on. The sugaring process for maintenance is quick and painless, I'm there for maybe 30 minutes tops. Coming here is a treat for myself every few weeks!

I have come here multiple times over the last 3 years for sugaring, and the service is always very professional and pleasant. The estheticians are very nice and do a really good job. They give good advice on things like upkeep and aftercare, and suggest products while not being pushy about you buying anything at all. I have never had an issue and plan to keep coming back, I much prefer sugar waxing to traditional hard wax.
