Are you a Portland Girl who loves adventure and the great outdoors?? Have you been wanting to learn surfing or get better at surfing, but you feel a little intimidated by the whole process (where to go? where to rent boards? how to stand up?, etc)

If you’re looking to make some new friends and enjoy a day learning to surf on the North Oregon Coast, then join us for our ladies surf camp! This is our fourth year hosting and they just keep getting better and better! Many of our previous attendees have gone on to purchase boards and go out and surf together as a group.

Our camp is small (no more than 10 admitted) and it will get you outdoors, enjoying all that the great Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Anna Long-Stokes (the founder of The Portland Girl) will be hosting this surf camp with her husband Shea Stokes. Anna is no expert at surfing, but she started these camps as a fun way to connect with her clients (many of whom have mentioned in passing that they have always wanted to try surfing or get better at it).

Shea has been a surf instructor on the North Oregon Coast for 10 years and is a trained lifeguard to boot! He grew up surfing on the small island of Kauai and has been surfing since he was 14

Depending on the number of sign-ups, we will have another very qualified instructor to assist.

This summer’s surf camps have been put on hold due to Covid-19. If you are interested in signing up for a private 1- or 2-person surfing lesson, please reach out to Anna directly. Also, follow us on Instagram to stay in the loop on our latest events!

Happy surfers from past camps!

THANK YOU Anna!! What an amazing experience, I’m so grateful to you and your husband for hosting this camp!

Can’t wait for next year!!

“Hey Anna! Thank you for organizing the surf camp this past weekend (and for taking all those awesome pictures).  I had a great time and enjoyed meeting you!”

Anna, thanks so much for the wonderful time yesterday!

I do have a couple of bumps but I’m wearing them as badges of courage!
The pictures are great — thank you!
