Where are you from?

I originally hail from a farm in southern Ohio but moved to Chicago when I was 18 and lived there for thirteen years. I came to Portland three years ago in search of warmer winters, new experiences, and the natural beauty that Oregon has to offer. I became interested in aesthetics after growing up with acne and trying and failing to conceal it with an inch of makeup, which led me to learn about skincare and how unique and fascinating the human body is.

What's your deal? Who are you in two sentences?

Spending time with my husband and daughter at home with our 17-year-old cat Kittytown, USA, or attempting a new hike with a baby strapped to my chest. I also love reading, playing video games, and am a general fan of most fantasy/sci-fi forms of entertainment.
